Altasko Software License

1. Ownership

Altasko and its underlying software, source code, object code, architecture, interfaces, designs, visual elements, documentation, logos, trademarks, and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to Altasko.

Except for the limited rights expressly granted to you under this License, no ownership rights are transferred to you.

2. Limited License to Use Altasko

Subject to your compliance with this License and any applicable Terms of Service, Altasko grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to access and use the Service for its intended business or personal productivity purposes.

This license does not give you ownership of the Altasko software.

Your right to use paid features may also depend on the subscription plan associated with your account or organization.

3. Restrictions

Except where expressly permitted by applicable law or by written permission from Altasko, you may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute Altasko's software.
• Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the software.
• Sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or commercially redistribute access to the software outside the functionality provided by Altasko.
• Attempt to obtain or reproduce Altasko's source code.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software.
• Remove copyright, trademark, attribution, or other proprietary notices.
• Use automated means to interfere with or abuse the Service.
• Use Altasko's branding or trademarks in a way that suggests unauthorized affiliation.
• Circumvent technical restrictions, subscription limits, authentication controls, or access controls.

Nothing in this section is intended to restrict rights that cannot lawfully be restricted under applicable law.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of content that you create, upload, or submit to Altasko, including tasks, projects, comments, documents, and other materials ("User Content").

You grant Altasko the limited rights necessary to host, store, process, transmit, display, and otherwise handle your User Content solely to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.

Altasko does not acquire ownership of your User Content merely because you use the Service.

5. Open-Source Software

Altasko may contain or depend upon third-party open-source software.

Such software may be provided under its respective open-source license. Where applicable, those licenses may grant rights that are separate from and take precedence over restrictions applicable to Altasko's proprietary software.

6. Third-Party Services

Altasko may integrate with or depend upon third-party services, including authentication, payment, hosting, analytics, communication, storage, or other providers.

Those services may be subject to their own terms, licenses, and policies.

7. Trademarks

"Altasko" and associated logos, names, designs, and branding are the property of Altasko or their respective owners.

You may not use Altasko trademarks in a manner that implies sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation without prior written permission.

8. Updates and Changes

Altasko may update, modify, replace, or discontinue portions of the Service, including software functionality, features, interfaces, or technical components.

An update to the Service does not grant you ownership of the underlying software.

9. Suspension or Termination

Your license to use Altasko automatically ends if your right to use the Service is terminated or if you materially breach this License.

Upon termination, you must stop using any Altasko software or materials that you have obtained outside the normal operation of the Service.

10. No Transfer of Ownership

Purchasing a subscription or paying for access to Altasko does not transfer ownership of Altasko's software, source code, intellectual property, trademarks, or other proprietary materials to you.

You are purchasing access to the Service, not the underlying software itself.

11. Legal Rights

Nothing in this License is intended to exclude, restrict, or limit any right or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or limited under applicable law.

This License should be read together with Altasko's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

This License is governed by the laws applicable in the Republic of South Africa, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Any dispute relating to this License will be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts of South Africa.
